Copy of letter from Charles, Prince of Wales, Segovia, to Philip IV, King of Spain [manuscript], 1623 September 13.

Contemporary copy of a letter from Charles I when Prince of Wales (signed "Carlos P") and addressed to his prospective brother-in-law. As Charles was known to be back in London on October 7, 1623, this letter was likely his final communication with Philip IV. This copy sent to the French court. On verso "Pour envoyer A Monsieur De Puysieux," likely Pierre Brulart, seigneur de Puisieux, foreign secretary to Louis XIII.
